Rule #1: Never disobey master’s commands.
Rule #2: Always strive to please your master.
Rule #3: Don’t ever kill your master.
Breaking the rules is the ultimate sin.
All I am is a servant. Rules like these keep me alive. They’re all I’ve ever known.
My new master: Marcus Knight, the charismatic and ambitious leader of an underground empire.
A man with a history he vows to destroy.
With his newfound ownership over me, he seeks to atone for his crimes … and to satisfy his wicked needs.
With love, he shows me what it means to belong to him … and it makes me question everything.
I don’t know why he chose me, but it feels too good to be true.
And it is.
Because I’m going to break all the rules.
6 beautiful dark stars!!!
To be honest, I could talk your ear off about this book, but I’ll stick to a few paragraphs!!
I absolutely loved every single thing about Ultimate Sin! It’s definitely a dark romance – Clarissa Wild does dark oh so well! – but it was more than that! Undeniable chemistry, romance, love, sacrifice. It was a bit mystery and suspense. A tad angst and a lot HOT!
“Every night, girls are stolen from the streets or snatched from their homes … girls like me. I am number 5947. I have no name, but this number tattooed on the back of my neck identifies me and my fate. Names are for Masters. Numbers are for servants.”
I would give away so much if I named characters so near with me … I was totally hooked from this quote in the prologue. Quite literally glued to every word. This girl is in the most horrible situation. And there seemed no way out! I was on the edge of my seat and sweeping pages like it was my job! The complexities between this quote and the HEA took me on such an emotional journey. Highs, lows, and everything in between!
“I’m overwhelmed by emotions, my eyes tearing up as I feel more loved than ever, even though I know this kind of love is twisted.”
And twisted it was! This spring is like nothing I’ve ever read. There are so many Master, BDSM, erotic, dark books out there – I’ve read my fair share. But this was different.
“Every time I touch her skin, a jolt of electricity shots they my veins, reminding me of how much I love to be close to her. She radiates like the sun, her smile capable of lighting up the world. At least, to me. To me … she is everything.”
One of my actual notes while reading this –> as strange as this situation was, it was still beautiful watching as A came out of her cocoon, really beautiful.
Fantastic book! Excellent writing, perfectly flawed characters. Gritty, raw, gut-wrenching. I experienced so many emotions while reading this book – I was completely wiped out upon completion! A definite favorite from one of my all time fav authors!
