                                               SYNOPSIS
New York Times, Wall Street Journal, & USA Today Bestselling stand alone novel…

I’m not your typical girl. I’ve been running away from the memories that haunt me for so long that depression has become my only comfort. I was content in the darkness…until Wes Michels offered to be my light.

I didn’t know that time wasn’t my ally — that every second that ticked past was one step closer to the end of something that was beginning to mean the end of myself. He tried to warn me. He promised me all he was able to offer–each moment as it came–but it would never be enough.

Sometimes when you think it’s the end, it’s only the beginning. Wes thought he could save me, but in giving me everything, he ruined me. Because after one kiss, one touch, I couldn’t–I wouldn’t ever be the same.

And from that moment on, his heartbeat became my own.

                                        *** 5 STAR REVIEW ***

Finished with Ruin… And yes, yes I am – completely, utterly, ruined. Wes is an athlete, an RA, and suffering – silently – from a horrible disease.  Kiersten is brilliant, sassy, beautiful, a virgin, and suffering from depression due to a past tragedy. From the moment they meet there is undeniable chemistry. The flirty banter and witty comebacks in dialogues and monologues that help ‘lighten’ this book filled with ‘heavy’ material. This author does a super job of making it an amazing read!!

Wes and Kiersten have suffered unthinkable loss in their lives. Together they are a force to be reckoned with against their separate demons. Kiersten essentially finds herself with the encouragement of Wes. While Wes finds yet another reason to fight. The profound nature of this book, coupled with inspiring characters, makes this book unputdownable!  I felt the lust, longing, shatter of hearts and hopes. I could feel it all. Right down to the tips of my fingers. There were incredibly poignant moments. Moments that could inspire any reader with faith and hope.

All characters were great!  When I finished, I found myself wondering about those secondary characters. Wes’s dad is terrific!  And everyone needs a Gabe and a Lisa!!  Can’t wait to read more about Gabe in Toxic!!

I smiled a lot reading this book. I also has my heart broken and sobbed like a baby. But I can say, I loved. Every. Second!!
