MILF: The Wrong Kind of Love by Erin Noelle

Synopsis

Wrong Kind of Love

A story of forbidden love with a side of revenge…

When my husband of nearly twenty years abruptly left me for another woman, I thought my life was over.

But I was wrong…

Wrong for thinking I was weak, wrong for assuming I couldn’t go on, wrong for believing I wouldn’t love again.

No matter what anyone else thinks,

Wrong never felt so right.

Review

5 Stars!!‎

I was super lucky to receive this book as an ARC!  From the blurb, it sounded fresh, sexy, and fun!  But there are some terrific parts that really get you!  I would say this is a beach read. There were no tears, a few laugh out loud moments and lots of sinful and sexy!

Mia was a very relatable character. (Not that I’ve experienced anything she had-seriously people! I’m happily married!) She was just one of those characters I fell in love with right away. She’s recently divorced, has a 20-year-old son – Adam, and is an aspiring painter. I went give you all the details, but when she sees her son’s best friend – well that’s when the fun begins!

“I’m not sure if it’s because I haven’t seen him in nearly a year…but my kid’s best friend is now, mo definitely, a man.”

And where to start with Greyson (Grey)??  He’s a year older than Mia’s son and has just returned from a year abroad in Barcelona. Since coming back, he just feels different. Can’t wait to finish his last year of college and get out in the real world.  I pegged him as a man who ventured into the unknown – his year in Spain – and somewhat ‘found’ himself.  I felt he was genuine and mature. Grey’s character traits certainly sold me on the book. He wasn’t like most of the guys we read about in NA books. But let’s remember that he is, in fact, a guy. So the dirty mouth and the sexual tension is off the charts hot!

“I’m not sharing your with anyone, Mia. Know that right fucking now. I can’t and I won’t. So you let me know. Are you in, or are you out?”

And have I mentioned that this was written with dual POV’s?  What a brilliant move on the authors part!  To hear how at war they each were in their heads about the whole taboo situation. I couldn’t stop reading this book!  It’s not all fluffy. Things get deep and a bit angsty. There are even a few twists and turns. One that hit me right in the face and made me crazy mad!  This book made me smile and laugh. It made me angry and frustrated. It even had me blushing!!  I love a book that can have many of my emotions being toyed with at once!! This is going down in the books as a favorite for sure!!
