Review

5 KILLER STARS!!

Wow. I could honestly leave my review as just that word. Maybe… WOW! instead?  Or Holy shit-balls?  But I’ll try to put it into words while not giving much up. This is the perfect read to go in blind!

Phoenix Sullivan and Vanessa Starr are brilliantly developed characters!  Both are captivating and a bit mysterious. He’s a ‘jack-of-all-trades’ and she is a trophy wife. That’s just the surface. They both have lots of secrets, are smart and both seem aptly fluent in sordid deeds. They are both liars, but to what end?

“May the best liar win.”

This is the prequel to Clarissa Wild’s upcoming Stalker and it seriously snapped me in!  It was raw, gritty, scandalous, and dark with a few nicely timed twists I never saw coming. I even chuckled out loud when I was done chanting – ‘well played Ms. Wild, well played’.  It’s certainly a tale woven not for the faint of heart.

“I have one rule for anyone who dares come into my life; don’t fuck with me, or I’ll fucking kill you. I make zero exceptions. Just because you have a vagina doesn’t mean you’re any less likely to die.”

It was enthralling, entertaining, and even more than I’ve come to expect from the terrific Clarissa Wild!   Truly a VERY juicy start to what I’m sure will be one of the best of the summer!!
